Hi Folks!

Recognising Quality Posts:  When a forum member posts a really good item, we now have the facility for you to give credit where its due - and give it a vote for "Post of the Day" (POTD). Despite the name, no one is being asked to make a vote on a daily basis, just when you think a post merits a "thumbs-up", let the sender know you appreciate their efforts!

Members vote on the posts they wish to support as a POTD candidate by clicking the Vote button that displays in posts.

Click the Vote button, one point will be added to that post's rating.  That shows you how many people have voted for that post that day, so far.

An animated checkmark will show any post that receives at least one vote to indicate that the post has been voted upon and is showing on the POTD main page. The checkmark lasts just for the day and goes away when the new day resets.  It is intended to communicate the system, recognize posts, and encourage participation.
Voting is anonymous - no one knows how others voted.
